Ep. 407: Exclusive Podcast – Doug Casey and Marin Katusa Unplugged

Welcome back to another episode of Wall Street Unplugged.

This week, legendary speculator Doug Casey and resource investing expert Marin Katusa share the microphone in this exclusive Wall Street Unplugged episode. This is the first time ever Doug and Marin have sat down to do a public interview together…

And the advice they share during this Podcast is critical to any investor who loves to speculate in the resource sector.

Doug and Marin start off by sharing their favorite junior mining ideas…

They also talk about their favorite commodity to invest in…

Who will be the “next” superstars in the resource sector…

And they share a few secrets to finding the best junior mining stocks that have the potential to generate 1,000% returns or more for investors.

Doug and Marin also let down their guard. They talk about why Marin no longer works for Casey Research and argue about who is the better poker player.

Doug then shares his favorite (and unique) investment idea outside of the resource sector… And Doug and Marin place a huge wager (in silver coins) on who will be our next president come November.

This is one of the best Podcasts I’ve ever hosted in my  10+ year career of interviewing market experts. This podcast is a must-listen-to for anyone looking to generate big returns in junior mining stocks.

As always, thanks for listening and good investing.

Frank, id like to hear your thoughts on this.

I think no matter what happened 2017 will be a horrible year, no matter who is elected.
People tend to think Republicans are capitalist, and begun to believe capitalism doesn’t work, I think we would be better off having a democrat get elected, so that the public will realize big government doesn’t work either, and might wake up to fact that they haven’t give Capitalism a proper opportunity, but if a republican (Donald trump, clearly a capitalist) gets in, and market implodes in 2017, as again I think it will not matter who wins presidency. the public will then be 100% convinced that capitalism doesn’t work. I know capitalism is a long term system works, but we live in a world of “I want it now” and because of that people never give capitalism a real try.

having said that, it is my opinion that no matter who is elected they will be a 1 term president, I think we would be better off with a democrat in the long run because the pubic will re-examine and give capitalism another try, if a republican is in and economy goes to crap, capitalism will get the final nail in the coffin and never given another shot………

that’s what I think is current thoughts of John q public, and only way to wake them up to try capitalism again is to convince them that what they think they want doesn’t work the way the expect it too. and what they really want capitalism, doesn’t unfold as evenly as they think it should but that in the end EVERYONE is better off.

but I guess the real issue is that they all think of Crony capitalism, which is not capitalism at all…..

Excellent. What a great opportunity to hear from two of the best. Doug Casey is a legend and so politically incorrect – love it. Marin is incredible. Anytime I can hear from either of them, it is time well spent. Thank you, Frank!
