Ep 304 – James Altucher Unplugged

James Altucher is an entrepreneur, former hedge fund manager and host of the James Altucher Show on iTunes. I’d say he is   one of the smartest people I know.

James stops by to talk about his brand new newsletter called The Altucher Report. He tells us why he’s writing his first ever newsletter and why it’s unique compared to the rest of the industry. He will then show you how to subscribe to his newsletter for less than $50 a year.

Also in the interview…  James reiterates why sending your kids to college is a terrible idea.

He will show you how to build a strong network and share a list of interesting jobs for retirees.

Finally, James talks about his favorite technologies, the current state of the private technology market and one tech company investors should buy right now.

you are one of my two favorites from stansberry. I trust your information and knowledge. I think you are wonderful at your job of helping whoever will listen. and therein lies my problem. speakers on my computer are absolutely terrible. I’ve bought speakers twice [which are not cheap for me]. would you please consider making a transcript of the message? I absolutely love james altucher and am not able to hear his broadcast. please consider a transcript of all [or at least some] of your disruptors and dominators. p.s. thank you so very much for thinking of those of us that don’t have millions of dollars to invest.

Come on a lawyer that didn’t go to college? How did he join the bar?
Yes, you hire people with skills but they got them thru experience and they could not have gotten their foot in the door without college to start.
Your daughter will never intern in the fashion industry without experience and will not get her first job for experience without college.
You can’t use the host as an example, he would never have even started his experience without college. You can’t even get a trade job without apprenticing, you can’t apprentice without schooling.
